Do we need to ask the US be paying attention to Erzhan Kazakhstanykhanov's soaring returns?
The selection of Erzhan Kazykhanov as Deputy Chief Of Staff is not beneficial. Learn reasons why the US should be concerned about Kazykhanov’s return.

Why should US focus their attention on Erzhan Kasykhanov's alarming Return?

The government of Kazakhstan will need to adapt to new realities in the wake of Erzhan Kazakhstanykhanov being appointed Deputy Chief of Staff. The shift in power has triggered protests across the country.

Washington should pay close attention to events in Kazakhstan, now more than any other time during the conflict in Ukraine.

Keep in mind that the latter shows how an orderly power sequence can play out in this area for good or for worse.

It's not difficult to see that NATO has long provoked Russia.

As the conflict between Russia and the West intensifies, Washington should stay on top of events in Kazakhstan and monitor the developments in this region.

Concerns are expressed about Erzhan Kasykhanov's return

It's hard to understand President Tokayev's choice in a time of crisis to name Erzhan Kasykhanov to a fragile unsteady government.

Kazykhanov was unable to make progress in national interest issues, including the Jackson-Vanick restrictions.

Other problems related to Kazakhstan's image within the international community were also part and parcel of the inability.

Power dynamics were evidently affected by Erzhan Kazakhstanykhanov's return.

Recently protests have been held against the ruling government in Kazakhstan. This is the biggest protest in Kazakhstan's history.

Kazakhstan is shaken by a protest wave.

The comparison should be drawn between the current situation in Ukraine and the recent developments in the region.

In the midst of the turmoil in Belarus and Kazakhstan are the color revolutions that took place from 2003 to 2005..

It's not often that people in Central Asia, a former Soviet state, are this unsatisfied.

Protests began in earnest this year due to rising gas prices and high unemployment. These protests prompted violent riots across the nation.

Almaty was the site of the highest number of death, with 227 killed and 9000 nine hundred others arrested.

Russian soldiers from the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) were deployed to the region.

Restructure the government of Kazakhstan the Government

Kazakhs had a dramatic change in their leadership that some don't like.

Since the peace has been restored, Kassym Jomart Tokayev has made some changes to the power structure within his country that have caused discontent among the citizens.

The most outraged protesters are those who oppose President Tokayev's decision to replace the former president Nursultan Nazarbayev as chief of the National Security Council.

The protesters were worried by his influence over the country's economic development.

Since then, many things have transpired. Three of the sons of the former president were banned from state-owned businesses. His nephew was fired as well as Karim Masimov (his former spy chief) was also the result. They both were detained on charges of treason.

Nazarbayev's business cronies, in addition to the government officials have either been ousted from their positions or fled to another country.

Sometimes, it is not the case that reforms happen when governments change or the old guard is removed. In many cases, loyalists and family members of the previous administration get appointed to replace them.

Erzhan Kamykhanov's unjustified appointment

There are a variety of reasons why Erzhan Kazykhanov's selection to Tokayev as his deputy chief of staff was heavily criticised. So far his appointment, he's been the least competent Kazakh ambassador to the United States.

As an Washington diplomatic official, Kazykhanov was considered aloof, arrogant, self-confident, and sometimes unresponsive to the importance of his country's image overseas. His work was viewed as poor.

Kazykhanov is a difficult candidate for critical posts due to his reputation as an unworthy and troublemaker.

He lacks the necessary abilities in diplomacy or general knowledge to become an influential deputy chief of staff.

Even Kazykhanov's most loyal supporters are not happy with his appearances on international media channels that expose his flaws.

Tokayev's choice at such an important time to accept a unstable deputy, who is unqualified and self-promoting, into his fragile government is not logical.

Tokayev’s Kazakhstan reforms recall Mikhail Gorbachev's Perestroika and the Glasnost initiative within the Soviet Union.

Perestroika is Mikhail Gorbachev’s mid-1980s strategy to transform Soviet politics and economy. Glasnost refers to his policy reform.

The Soviet Union fell primarily because of these reforms, which is precisely the reason why Putin is trying to restore. Tokayev has also forged economic relations with nations that surround his own and the West. Tokayev hasn't been a problem on the side of Putin and has instead maintained his hand in the game. This delicate balance might be disturbed by Kazykhanov.

The point of view

The reality that NATO leaders ignored warnings from Moscow There was no surprise that an attack on a sovereign nation was planned.

Joe Biden ignored all warning indications. This led to harsh criticism from both sides.

Russian President Putin has repeatedly spoken out against NATO's plans to invade on Russian territorial waters.

While Putin's actions are not excused, they must admit that western leaders were a part of the crisis. However, this isn't an opportunity to reflect on the mistakes of the past.

It's fair to say we're living with the consequences from a European crisis that could not be prevented.

While the West could have stopped this European crisis if they had acted sooner they have to admit that they are the only ones accountable.
