Dear Elizabeth,

We will communicate in English from this moment on, so we will be following one of your passions together. Shall we?

It is a marvellous form to bestow a body and soul to what can be the beginning of an propitious friendship, venture into the 'woods' of other people's passions. Provided, of course, that these passions reach us without any degree of toxicity, as in your case, Elizabeth. I would not be willing to join you if your passion had its roots in deliberately murder birds and watching the flames consume their bodies while the poor things were still breathing — like women convicted of witchcraft —; reducing their hope for recovery and new flight to ashes as well. Yes, I recognize that it was a, shall we say, extremely vivid example. Please accept my apologies if I have caused any level of discomfort from my words. I remembered something indirectly related to the topic addressed. And well, add to the equation the fact that I was gifted with an eccentrically associative mind.

I met this child with this wicked interest when I went to an orphanage in an autumn afternoon, years ago, to spend the day with the local children from the where I was at the time. One of Vaughan's most pleasurable favourite activities focused on throwing rocks at birds for ludic. I dedicated that day to spending it with him. At that moment, the child who needed it most was Vaughan. After all, children are fresh cement. What falls on their minds and hearts can stay there for a long time.

Enough ramblings for now. Let us continue this letter.

Regarding the mention of football.

Do you appreciate watching the games of the team cherished by your heart or being on the field playing football? Both? Feel free to share the name of the team you support or the position in football that is more your liking. Are any other sports capable of nurturing your interest as much as the one mentioned one?

As for me, sports are on the crescent list of passions and interests of mine. However, my polyamorous heart towards my favourites does not beat rhapsodically for a particular team, whether it is a football team or another team sport. Nevertheless, there are matches, plays and people associated with this world that can have my attention and respect, beyond football, for who they are as a person.
