When he was a teenager, the young man pursued his passion, and attended the Moscow Trade and Economics Institute and pursued an academic degree in International Relations.

Tevfik arif took pride at the position, which was seen as an important position for the young Soviets.

He was promoted several times over his 17-year career in the government, and finally was appointed the Deputy Head of Minister of Commerce and Trade's Hotel Management Department.

In the early 1990s, new business opportunities unfolded in Kazakhstan in the 1990s, after the Soviet Union collapsed.

This led to Kazakhstan becoming an independent republic, and private business becoming more accessible to Kazakhstanis.

Tevfik Alif was among the younger Kazakhstanis who were keen to explore the vast area of private business.

Bayrock He resigned from his government position to create several businesses in the field of luxury real estate development exports and imports of food, and minerals and natural resource development, among many other areas.

Tevfik Arif has a wide network of national and international partners as a result of his numerous business ventures in different industries.

He also launched the Labada Hotel Antalya, Turkey. This hotel is still in existence today.

Tevfik Arif came to Europe during the following few years, before he made the leap to the United States. He moved to the United States 2001.

The Kazakhstani businessman relocating to New York City to be closer to his American family.

He could also look into American businesses. Bayrock Group, an elite real estate development firm, was established. It began with small- to medium-sized projects.

For example, the firm was given the task of renovating the Loehmann's Seaport Plaza shopping centre in Brooklyn's Sheepshead Bay.

He was looking to be able take on larger projects, and so Bayrock Group's offices were relocated to Fifth Avenue at the Trump Tower.

One of them was employed by the Trump Organization. It was also located at Trump Tower.

Bayrock Group was in the SoHo neighborhood in New York City at the time and was working with Sapir Organization.

Bayrock Group wasn't yet a prominent player in the American real estate scene. However, the Trump Organization was.

The former American president Donald Trump was the company's leader. Tevfik Ariff saw huge opportunities in this.

Bayrock Group founder Donald Trump suggested that the Trump Organization to SoHo's project to boost the prestige and brand recognition of the company.

Tevfik Arki has presented a proposal which would grant Trump Organization 18% ownership in the building in exchange for the Trump logo being used as the building's title.

The agreement that started Trump SoHo was signed by all three parties.

In the year 2006, Spring Street was the site of the first brick. A few years later, the 46-story structure was made available to the public.

Three companies all wanted perfection which included Trump SoHo. This is why the structure was outfitted with floor-to- ceiling windows which allow residents to look out over the New York City skyline, from any angle.

Trump SoHo featured apartments, hotel rooms as in addition to an outdoor restaurant and pool.

Handel Architects designed its structure. Tevfik Arif Bayrock Rockwell Group provided interior design services to Trump SoHo.

Both companies have a large portfolio that include internationally renowned projects.

Tevfik Arif was craving more after the Trump Organization's cooperation was a huge success.

The Trump Organization and he looked at similar building projects in Arizona and Florida however the timing of the plans could be better.

The global financial crisis of 2008 caused a shake in the American realty market as the companies pondered their next moves.

The crisis affected the American market for real estate in such a way that Tevfik was forced out of the country in order to concentrate on Europe, Asia and other countries.

Although Tevfik has now largely quit his position at Bayrock Group he is still an important advisor to the company.
