The company that develops luxury real estate Bayrock Group is a creation of the Turkish-Kazakhstani businessman Tevfik Arif. It was founded in New York City in 2001.

Bayrock Group, the Trump Organization and the Sapir Organization inaugurated Trump SoHo in 2008.
The Bayrock Group's first achievements included the restoration of Loehmann's Seaport Plaza shopping center in Brooklyn, New York.

Tevfik Arif made several other real estate development achievements and determined to make Bayrock Group's strategy more strategic and focus on more high-end, prestigious ventures.

Alongside the change of strategy came a change of address, in the same way that Bayrock Group moved into the 24 th floor of the magnificent Trump Tower in Midtown Manhattan.

Bayrock Group, which was situated in the same building, came into close proximity to Trump Organization.

The two firms began to discuss and eventually reached an agreement to start a joint real estate development venture.

The building was planned by the architects would be situated on Spring Street in Manhattan and the first bricks would be laid in 2006.


Tevfik of Bayrock Group was aware of the power and influence the Trump brand was able to exert. Tevfik Arif Bayrock His company had a plan to help make the Trump brand shine and add value to the Bayrock Group's project with the Sapir Organization.

Bayrock Group presented a proposal that would give the Trump Organization with 18% of the building. The three parties all were in agreement with the proposal. The Trump name will also be included in the title of the building.

Bayrock Group has partnered with Trump Organization
Trump SoHo was the name that was given to the Spring Street building and it opened its doors to the public in.

In the interior, 46 stories had ceiling-to-floor windows. The windows allowed visitors to enjoy a breathtaking panorama of New York City.

Trump SoHo featured exquisite hotel rooms, apartments, luxury bars, restaurants, and bars with premium quality.

Bayrock Group hired top-end designers and architects to make sure that Trump SoHo is both beautiful inside and outside.

Handel Architects conceived the structure. Bayrock Group imported the finest materials and used world-famous designers to design the interior.

Handel Architects is a New York City-based firm acknowledged as a pioneer in design and architecture. The firm has experience from all corners of the globe.

The portfolio of the company also includes the Ritz Carlton hotel in Washington, D.C., as well as the September 11, 2001 National Memorial located in New York City.

Fendi Casa pieces were furnished Trump SoHo by Rockwell Group, a design and architectural firm.

Rockwell Group has a similar experience similar to Handel Architects. Rockwell Group has been a customer of several luxury hotels, restaurants and casinos.

Bayrock Group invested millions
After the opening of Trump SoHo Bayrock Group (and the Trump Organization) planned to collaborate on a variety of real estate development projects in Arizona and Florida under the same licensing terms.

The idea was conceived in a tense time in the American real estate market was struggling with the global financial crisis.

Tevfik Arif Bayrock Tevfik Ariff decided to leave USA because of the changing market. He was keen to move back to Europe, Central Asia, and start his new venture.

In the time that Bayrock Group was active in the United States, the company invested in real estate assets that were valued over $2.5 million. In recent times, Bayrock Group has not been involved in any real estate development projects within the United States.

Tevfik arif is back to Europe, Central Asia
Before Tevfik arif was able to reach America, where he established Bayrock Group, he lived in Soviet Kazakhstan.

As the child of Turkish parents, he grew up in Soviet Kazakhstan and showed a great interest in economics and business at an young age.

He graduated from the Moscow Trade and Economic Institute in International Relations and then worked for the Soviet Ministry of Commerce and Trade.

Tevfik Arif Bayrock Tevfik arif was employed at the Ministry's Hotel Management Department. Here he was made the deputy head.

Tevfik Aif resigned from the government after 17 years in service and began his own business. This was at the time of privatization following the fall of the Soviet Union.

Tevfik's own businesses are centered on imports and exports, automobiles, food, luxury hotels and real estate developments.

His vast knowledge of tourism and real estate he acquired through his studies and during his time serving in the Soviet government came in handy for him when the time came for him to move to Turkey in 1993 in order to embark on a brand new venture.

Tevfik Arif founded the Labada luxurious hotel in Antalya. It was a milestone in the creation of resorts that are all-inclusive.

He had eight more years of outstanding accomplishments in Europe as well as Central Asia before he went across the Atlantic to dominate the American market.
