○ 用途：除草剤（アミノ酸系）
除草剤として一年生雑草、多年生雑草、雑潅木まで幅広く雑草管理に使用され
る。
○ 国内登録状況
・昭和５５年に除草剤として農薬登録（グリホサートアンモニウム塩、グリホ
サートイソプロピルアミン塩、グリホサートトリメシウム塩などがある 。）
・毒物及び劇物取締法上の普通物に相当。
グリホサート グリホサート ・食品衛生法に基づく残留農薬基準が１２０種以上の作物に設定されている。
・国内流通量は、平成１７年度（平成１６年１０月～平成１７年９月）では本
成分を含む農薬製剤の出荷量は液剤が１０,６８７.５キロリットル（農薬要
覧）
○ 海外での登録状況
米国、ＥＵ、豪州等各国で登録されている
○ 毒性に関する知見
（１）急性毒性（短期間の摂取で健康に悪影響を及ぼす）
LD50（半数致死量 ；＞5,000 mg/kg体重（ラット、マウス） ）
ARfD※1（急性参照量 ；動物を用いた試 ） 験では急性毒性が低かったことから、
JMPRでは「設定不要」とされた。

（２）慢性毒性（食べ続けると健康に悪影響を及ぼす）

※１；一時的に経口摂取しても健康に悪影響が出ない量
※２；毎日一生食べ続けても健康に悪影響が出ない量
○ 中毒症状
グリホサートの毒性は比較的低く、製剤は一般に界面活性剤を含む製品として
販売されていることから、界面活性剤の毒性も考慮する必要がある。
グリホサート グリホサートイソプロピルアミン塩製剤の場合、界面活性剤の消化管刺激・腐
食作用による嘔吐、下痢、腹痛等消化器症状が現れ、数時間から数日後に、腎障
害、肝障害、中枢神経障害、低血圧、肺水腫が現れた例がある。
主たる症状は嘔吐、腹痛、下痢等の胃腸障害、咽頭痛、意識障害である。 グリホサート その
ほか、頻脈、徐脈、顔面紅潮、瞳孔異常、筋肉痛など多様な症状が現われること
があるが、これらは界面活性剤による症状もしくはグリホサートと界面活性剤の
相乗作用による症状と考えられている。
