Omaha Hold'em is a game that is similar to Texas hold'em except that it uses five community cards. Each player is dealt four cards and must make the best hand possible using two of them, three of the community cards, and three of the community cards. There are two variations of the game, Omaha High only and Omaha Hi/Lo split. Omaha Poker Hi/Lo is most popular. This variation gives the winner of the Omaha Poker Hi/Lo a share of the pot.

The dealer then burns one card, and then gives out three cards, the flop. Each player tries to make a hand using five cards. The player to the left of a button initiates the action. A "Squeezing" bet is used to limit your opponents pot odds in a short-on the level* game. This bet is only used when you have a strong player and your opponent has a write. They are unlikely to hit their draw so place a wager and make them pay to chase it. You'll either increase the pot size or they will fold to your side if you don't risk losing the draw.

The dealer will now "burn" another card on the table and then deal a single card, known as the turn card. There are now 4 cards at the table. In Texas Holdem however, each player may only use 3 of these cards to make their 5-card poker hand. Poker action continues with the small blind. The dealer acts next. Check, Bet on, Raise, and Fold.

You can find games with four amounts in their names, such as: $4-$8-8-$10-10-$12; this means that the player can wager between $4-8 and $8 during the first two betting rounds, pre-flop or flop, and between $4-8 and $9 on the turn. The player can also bet between $4-10 and $10 on the third round, the turn. Finally, on the river, the upper limit for bets is increased from $4 to $12.
