New York adalah kota terdapat di AS yang dijuluki "Big Apple" dan "Capital of the world". New York city terbagi lagi menjadi 5 wilayah yaitu Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, The Bronx, Staten Island. Nah kebanyakan wisata wisata di new york ada di Manhattan.
1. Patung Liberty - Statue of Liberty adalah patung wanita raksasa dengan mahkota berduri & obor di tangannya. Terletak di Manhattan tepatnya di sebuah pulau yang disebut Liberty Island. Patung ini bergaya neoklasik yang menggambarkan sosok dewi Libertas, yaitu dewi romawi untuk kebebasan. Patung Liberty dirancang oleh Frederic Auguste Barlholdi dan juga melibatkan Gustave Eiffel (pembangun menara Eiffel).
2. Brooklyn Bridge - Menjadi salah satu jembatan gantung tertua di AS, membentang sepanjang 1825 m diatas East River yang menghubungkan Manhattan dan Brooklyn. Jembatan ini juga menjadi tempat para pasangan mengaitkan gembok cinta. Brooklyn Bridge muncul di beberapa film seperti I am Legend, The Dark Knight Rises, The Avengers, dll.
3. Empire State Building - Gedung pencakar langit ini setinggi 443,2 m terletak di Manhattan tepatnya di persimpangan jalan Fifth Avenue dan West 34th Street. Di desain oleh William F. Lamb dgn 103 tingkat & 6500 jendela dimiliki oleh 2800 investor dgn 1000 perusahaan dan 21000 karyawan. Sempat muncul di beberapa film seperti kingkong, independence day, step up 3D.
4. Times Square - Times square menjadi kawasan komersial yg ramai dgn nyala lampu dan papan iklan yang berwarna-warni. Terletak di persimpangan jalan Broadway dan Sevent Avenue dan membentang dari jalan West 42nd hingga West 47th, Manhattan. Times square dijuluki "The Crossroads of the World" karena menjadi persimpangan pejalan kaki tersibuk di dunia. Tempat hiburan terkenal di AS seperti studio ABC, Ripley's Believe it or not, dan museum lilin madame tussauds juga berada di kawasan ini.
5. Staten Island Ferry - Staten Island memiliki suasana sub urban yang berbeda seperti wilayah yang lainnya yang bersuasana perkotaan besar. Tetap kapal ferry ini sangat populer di kalangan wisatawan karna selain memberikan pemandangan New York Harbor, naik kapal ini GRATIS. Yaps gratis karena kapal ini merupakan layanan kapal penumpang yang dioperasikan oleh Departemen Transportasi New York.
