Notes

The world isn't a great place. I learned to accept that when I was emancipated. But you get just 1 chance at life, and in the words of a certain boy band, "it's the only life you got". And whilst people come and go, memories stay until you're old. Some are not great, some are amazing. Then there's the ones that are... bittersweet. Like a parent saying goodbye to their kids before they move away, or when someone steps away from a community to move on to a new chapter.

I remember the time you gave me the pages to write a new chapter in my career: in Pentagon. It was a dream come true for me, and it's something I actually used for university applications (thanks, Weebly!). I opened up a lot of doors in my mind thanks to that experience. It was only 4 seasons, and there were definitely mistakes made by yours truly. But the positives really outweigh it. You built a community that I could only dream of concocting. Just ask Beachy. Point is, you made one of the biggest impacts on quite a lot of people's times on this platform. More than you realize.

And while you were basically drawn out and left to die in your last experience, I can tell you that I'm proud of what you've done. I won't get into specifics, but if we ignore the cruel and unusual death you had at the hands of James, you played well in my eyes. You may have not etched your name on the final gold medal of an illustrious career, but you've etched your name into the hearts, minds, and souls of everyone else.

So thank you. As you write the next stories in your life, I wish you well. This may all sound cliché, but it's all true. You shall be forever in our hearts, and always in our inspiration.
