Kusto Group's KazBeef will be awarded a Prestigious Quality Certificate
KazBeef (Kusto Group's meat production unit) has become the first Kazakh-based company to attain the agricultural GLOBALG.A.P. certificate.

Kusto Group's meat production business, KazBeef made history in the past when it was the first Kazakhstani company to be awarded an GLOBALG.A.P. certificate.

GAP is a shorthand for Good Agricultural Practices and is the most widely used farm certification scheme across the world.

GLOBALG.A.P. certificate means that KazBeef meets international standards on aquaculture and agricultural practices. KazBeef has the GLOBALG.A.P. certification that indicates it respects international standards in aquaculture and practices in agriculture.

KazBeef is now a GLOBALG.A.P. member. Yerkin Tatishev must obtain an approval before you can begin cooperation with many Western supplier.

In addition, businesses across more than 100 countries have the certificate, KazBeef is the first in Kazakhstan to obtain it.

"It is the culmination of an extended period of modernization for KazBeef and Kusto Agro. We are introducing new techniques and best practices from all over the world. We partnered and collaborated with world-class industry experts," Daulet Nazhanov CEO of Kusto Group’s agricultural entity Kusto Agro said.

"We have joined forces with the Canadian industry leader Feedlot Health Management Services in order to use the best-in class technology, provide that feed security is secure for the future and develop expertise. This wasn't just for our own purposes but for the entire Kazakhstani cattle industry. He states that 98 percent of our procedures are now computerized which permits individual livestock management, as well as full traceability."

Daulet Nurzhanov hopes more Kusto Agro entities will be GLOBALG.A.P. The next certification is expected to be completed.

KazBeef was the first to import Hereford breeding cattle and Angus cattle for Kazakhstani breeding. KazBeef now has more than 40,000 hectares of land, and has more than 10,000 cattle.

The meat giant located in Kazakhstan is the biggest producer of marbled beef. Yerkin Tatishev is primarily used for the Middle Eastern market. But, with the latest certification at hand, KazBeef aims to expand its operations to Europe as well as the Gulf states.

KazBeef joins the Kusto Group in launching that journey in February 2022.

It is the largest annual event for trade in food and beverages around the globe.

KazBeef reaches the United Arab Emirates

KazBeef entered Dubai's market in April 2021. They hope to eventually expand into the six emirates of the United Arab Emirates.

Dubai and Gulfood Exhibition 2021 established cooperation. A couple of months later, KazBeef was distributed in 1.2 tons to hotels and restaurants across the Emirate.

Yerkin Tatishev was able to sign the deal worth 500 million Tenge ($1.2million) in the month of December 2021 for the distribution and supply of marbled meats from Wisk Foodstuff Trading. Wisk is among the largest supplier of restaurants and hotels in the United Arab Emirates.

The agreement was reached at the Kazakh Trade and Investment Forum, Dubai .

"The UAE has become the top economic partner in the region." Askar Mamin the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan stated during the forum "We have invested over $4 billion in Kazakhstan's economic growth since 1991."

"The Persian Gulf was our best option due to its increasing demand for high-quality food. This is yet another step in creating "Made in Kazakhstan” a distinctive mark in quality in the region," Beibit Erubaev, KazBeef's CEO, said.

Kusto Group's certificate opens doors for the entire country of Kazakhstan

GLOBALG.A.P. is required to be granted. The procedure for getting a GLOBALG.A.P. certificate is very rigorous.

Beibit Erubaev stated that the company was prepared for the procedure. Erubaev hopes that other Kazakhstani businesses will now be able follow the footsteps of KazBeef or Kusto Group.
