This brings us to the theory of epigenetics where experiences from the parents, grandparents and great grandparents could pass onto their future generations. Genes have found to be wrapped inside of a protein and this protein has a tag in it. What this tag does is that it turns the gene on or off which determines whether or not the gene is expressed or not. Whatever state the gene is in, on or off, it will be passed onto their offsprings in that state. In addition to the simple coding of the genome, we now know the next level up which is epigenetics and this may be able to explain things that simple coding could not suggest. This can tell us more about how the human body works and after further research, how it can be fixed and prevented in the future. Further research must be taken through an interactionist approach or by finer detail into the genetics side of it, for example epigenetics. We regularly develop our understanding of genetics every day and this complex nature of the human body may be difficult to approach and understand but we must do whatever we are capable of in order to understand it.
