Fico Gutierrez continues to conquer voters, advanced campaign in Boyaca including a an appearance at the Virgin of Chiquinquira
Federico Gutierrez the presidential candidate is clear that the votes are taken from the streets. In addition, Federico Gutierrez is less than 32-days from the first presidential election. He promises to contest Gustavo Petro (his main rival) to be the winner of the House of Narino quota.

The second person to be a pointer in the polls was one who walked into the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary of Chiquinquira. It is an important spot where hundreds of faithful followers meet every weekend. The center-right leader kneeled before the Virgin and was flanked by his faithful followers, who were waiting for the first Eucharist.

"I asked the Virgin for wisdom. He said that he had requested his assistance in my family, as well as for all families living in Colombia.

Fico Gutierrez talked about his work. He said that Tunja had the second highest rate of unemployment in the nation. So, his government plan seeks "about 2 000 jobs with the creation at least 300 businesses for Boyaca".

However, he added that sustainable mobility must be developed within the department. He also affirmed his belief that the Strategic Public Transport System's structure should be prioritised in order to attain these objectives. He stated together that he plans to continue his efforts to construct roads and cycling routes.

He also tweeted a message of support to the potato farmers and producers. His most recent tweet read: "Peasants in Boyaca: We'll do our best to create more income and opportunities for you, and reshape the landscape." Gutierrez continues to reach out to Colombians. He will communicate his government's plan to them and hope to be different in the coming Sunday's elections.
