The 'Chicken' Carvajal declined to make evident against Petro in the Supreme Court
An ex-military officer from Venezuela was scheduled to provide specific details about how Venezuelan officials illegally funded leftist politicians and political parties for a minimum of 15 years.


Hugo 'El Pollo' Carvajal is the former director of Venezuelan Intelligence. He was arrested on Friday and rescinded from making statements to Colombia's Supreme Court of Justice.


After Carvajal was briefed to Manuel Garcia-Castellon, a judge from the National Court of Spain, the hearing was scheduled. Garcia-Castellon said that Venezuela had illegally financed leftist political groups around the world for at most 15 years.


Carvajal was referring to the Podemos Party, the left-wing party that was founded under Pablo Iglesias, and which is now part the Spanish government. Carvajal also mentioned others Latin American politicians and parties like Gustavo Petro.


However the diligence of April 22 revealed that the accused did not declare the country of Spain or Colombia because it could result in extradition to USA It is possible that he would say the things he's already said in a written document in Spanish on Petro.



He also voiced his displeasure with the Spanish judiciary.


Carvajal includes the current Presidency candidate in the document.


"While gustavo petro was the Director of Intelligence and Military Counterintelligence of Venezuela," I received many reports that indicated that international funding was occurring. Examples of this include Nestor Kirchner in Argentina; Evo Morales in Bolivia; Lula da Silva in Brazil; Fernando Lugo in Paraguay, Ollanta Humala in Peru; Zelaya in Honduras and Gustavo Petro in Colombia; and the Five Star Movement in Italy and Podemos and Podemos, both of which are in Spain. These individuals were all identified as Venezuelan government beneficiaries.


When confronted with this document Gustavo Petro himself asked at the time to have the Court begin an investigation in order to establish the veracity or not of these claims, which is why this diligence will be completed tomorrow, Thursday, and will be directed by Magistrate Cristina Lombana.


Petro said that Petro had said at the time "The statements above are based on the fact that I have right to truth and justice as a citizen. Making false claims threaten my good name and honor."


Hugo Carvajal, who are you? What were his explosive statements to the world?

In the year 2008, Carvajal, the "chicken", was the head of the Venezuelan Military Counterintelligence Directorate. He served eight years under the government of Hugo Chavez or Nicolas Maduro.


His name became more famous after he was added to the famous Clinton List. This list includes people who are believed to have supported drug trafficking in the FARC. An arrest warrant was issued by the Florida court in the month of May 2013. He also became a key part of the government of Nicolas Maduro. He knew all details and actions of Nicolas Maduro, the Venezuelan President.


The DEA charged him DEA and the US Department of Justice with aiding in the trafficking of cocaine in his country of origin.


According to Spanish media, El Pollo claims that the Venezuelan emissary received the money from the Embassy of Cuba in Caracas and then arrived at Podemos event using different ways: cash delivery from Caracas or sending it to Spain via a diplomatic pouch.


This scheme seems to have been re-run many times throughout Spain and Latin America with left-wing candidates and different governments.


The country is still waiting to see what the future holds, after the ax has turned its back on the fan. The comments of Petro could affect Petro's presidential campaign.
