Punctuating Sentences
Sentences start with CAPITAL LETTERS and end with a full stop.
All names also start with CAPITAL LETTERS.
Questions end with a question mark. (?)
For example: What is your name?
Put commas between items in a list. (,)
For example: I have a pencil, rubber, ruler and a pen in my pencil bag.

Rule 2: Nouns
Common Nouns are naming words. Things we, see, feel and touch.
Proper Nouns are nouns that we use for people's names, towns, countries, days of the week and months of the year. They always begin with a capital letter.
For example: Ben, who lived in Pretoria was born in April.
Pronouns replace names in a sentence . For example: I, you, he, she, it, they, them, me him, her, us.
It is easy to count nouns like dogs, sisters, chairs and balls. We add "s" when we speak of more than one . We call these Countable Nouns. Some nouns like food, sand and water cannot be counted. We call these Uncountable Nouns.
