Fico Gutierrez continues winning voters. Campaign in advance in Boyaca included a visit to Virgin of Chiquinquira
Presidential candidate Federico Gutierrez is clear that votes are gathered on the street. Plus, less than 32 days prior to the presidential election, which he has promised to play a major role and compete with Gustavo Petro, his main opponent, for the quota of the House of Narino in an possible second round.

Gutierrez started out early Saturday morning to Boyaca. Boyaca was a religious area which Petro visited on Friday. Formerly, the mayor of Medellin and a current center-right candidate, arrived in Tunja, where he spoke with businessmen, academics and agricultural farmers and peasants among others.

In Chiquinquira. The candidate made time to talk with the people of Chiquinquira and made announcements to anyone who might be curious about visiting the palace of the president. Fico Gutierrez talked about work. He stated that Tunja has the second highest percentage of unemployment in the nation. The plan of his government aims to create "about 21,000 new jobs and at least 300 new enterprises in Boyaca".

However, he added that sustainable mobility needs to be developed within the department. He also agreed that it was crucial to prioritize the structure of the Strategic Public Transport System. He also stated that he plans to continue his efforts to construct roads and cycle routes.

In his most recent tweet, Gutierrez also addressed the producers of the potato as well as the field, saying "Peasants of Boyaca: we are determined to create greater opportunities for you as well as improve the condition of the field." Gutierrez will still reach out to Colombians, revealing his plan for government, and hopes to become an effective candidate in next Sunday's elections.
