This is (AGENT NAME) from Clean Energy Utility and we are reaching out to all (UTILITY PROVIDER) customers in the area. You’re one of the Homeowners here in (ADDRESS)?

We’re calling to notify you that we're going to have some trucks out in your area in the next few days conducting surveys for the Government Funded- NET METERING PROGRAM.

My job is to check if you qualify for LED lights, Smart Thermostat, Solar Panels or Insulation upgrades with the tax credits from last yr and this yr. Have you done any of those to the home yet?

My job is pretty simple, I just have 4 to 5 qualifying questions.

1.) Do you get your power bill with (UTILITY PROVIDER)?

2.) Do you live in a single family home, a mobile home, or a condo?

3.) How much is your average monthly electric bill? If customer is not sure ask:
Just a rough estimation do you think it will reach $50, 80, or $100?

As part of the program, we use these energy efficient improvements, to produce clean energy, instead of using offsite power plants

We at Clean Energy Utility work alongside (UTILITY PROVIDER) to connect the new net meter

Only 30% of people can qualify for zero out of pocket and lower fixed cost of power bills.

Due to the nature of the program, they require that our homeowners are in good standing with their home and credit.

4.) To qualify you must have a credit score of at least 650 (six hu
ndred fifty). Do you meet this requirement?
IF CUSTOMER IS NOT SURE ASK:
1. Have you ever or are you about to declare bankruptcy?
2. Do you have unpaid medical bills?
3. Have you ever had a foreclosure?

5.) Also, there should be a combined gross household taxable income of at least $40,000 annually, you have these numbers right?
IF NOT:
actually maam/sir it's not only your income, it includes another homeowners income, so if you'll combine your income and their income do you think it would reach $40k annually?

Congratulations! It looks like you qualify and could benefit from the program!

What we can do is to have an energy expert from your area stop by. They will bring a proposal to show you the new program, those upgrades, and how much you will save.

We want to make sure all homeowners can meet with the energy expert at the same time.

Great! Before we notify (UTILITY PROVIDER) to come swap out the meter just in case you will proceed with the program.

We’ll take a look at your roof, and tree shading to see if we can put up the solar panels, and add in those energy efficiency upgrades throughout the house to feed power back to the utility company.
All with nothing out of pocket, and get you that cheaper fixed rate.
