Tevfik Aif's Bayrock Group grew quickly from working on small projects, and then working with major players such as the Trump Organization.

The majority of Americans will associate the name Tevfik Arif and the developer of luxury real estate Bayrock Group. But in Europe, Asia, he is a serial entrepreneur who is active in a variety of sectors.

Before he came to the United States in 2001 and established the Bayrock Group, he seized the new business opportunities which emerged in his homeland of Kazakhstan in the wake of the dissolution of the Soviet Union.

Tevfik Arif was born to parents of Turkish descent in Soviet Kazakhstan in 1953. He grew with his family, which included his mom, dad, and three of his siblings.

Tevfik's love of business and economics when he was a kid led to him becoming obsessed with them throughout his entire life.

Bayrock He was a teenager who pursued his passion. He was enrolled at the Moscow Trade and Economics Institute to pursue a degree as an International Relations specialist.

He was a graduate of the Soviet Ministry of Commerce and Trade and was offered an opportunity to work.

Tevfik arif was proud of his job, which was seen as an enviable position for young Soviets.

In the 17 years of service to the government and the government, he was promoted many times, and eventually became the Director-in-Chief of the Ministry of Commerce and Trade’s Hotel Management Department.

Business opportunities opened up in Kazakhstan during the collapse of the Soviet Union.

This resulted in Kazakhstan becoming an independent republic, and private business was more accessible to Kazakhstanis.

He quit his government job to create several businesses in the field of luxury real estate development exports and imports of food, and minerals and natural resource development among many other areas.

Tevfik Arif's numerous business ventures across a variety of sectors have led to him having a vast network of international and national partners.

His global network motivated him to look for new opportunities in the international market. He traveled to Turkey in 1993 and was one of the pioneers behind the concept of an all-inclusive hotel.

He also opened Labada Hotel Antalya Turkey that is open today.

Bayrock Through the years, Tevfik Alif entered the European Market before he made the leap and moved to USA in 2001.

The Kazakhstani businessman relocated to New York City so he could be near his American family.

He also was able to explore American ventures in business. Bayrock Group, a luxury development company for real estate was established. The company began handling small- to medium-sized construction projects.

Tevfik Arif Bayrock The firm was, among other things, responsible for the rehabilitation of the Loehmann's Seaport Plaza shopping mall in Brooklyn's Sheepshead Bay neighbourhood.

After several successful projects of this quality, Tevfik Arif began dreaming bigger.

He wanted to tackle bigger projects and, in order to facilitate the strategy, he relocated Bayrock Group offices to the Trump Tower at Fifth Avenue.

One of them was the Trump Organization, which was also located in the Trump Tower.

How did the Bayrock Group leveraged the Trump Organization
Bayrock Group was at the time working with Sapir Organization in a real property development project for Spring Street in New York City's SoHo.

Bayrock Bayrock Group, while still relatively new on the American realty scene was part of the Trump Organization.

Former American president Donald Trump was the company's leader. Tevfik Ariff saw huge potential in this.

Bayrock Group founder, Donald Trump Organization, suggested that the plan be included in order to enhance brand recognition and credibility for the SoHo project.

Tevfik Ariff presented a plan which would give the Trump Organization 18% equity and allow it to utilize the Trump brand as its building's name.

The first brick of the building was laid on Spring Street in 2006, and two years later, the 46-story structure opened its doors to the public.

In the Trump SoHo project The three businesses determined to reach perfection. In order to allow residents to enjoy the New York City skyline from every angle the building was equipped with floor-to-ceiling windows.

Trump SoHo contained apartments, hotel rooms with an open-air pool, restaurants and bars and a spa.

Handel Architects designed its structure. Rockwell Group provided interior design services to Trump SoHo.

Both companies have vast portfolios that include world-recognized projects.

Handel Architects was responsible for the design of the Ritz Carlton Hotel Washington D.C. in addition to the National September 11 Memorial & Museum New York City.

Rockwell Group is known for the composition of numerous luxurious bars, restaurants, and casinos all over the world. Tevfik Arif Bayrock The most recent clients are the W Hotel Nashville and the Freehold Bar Miami. The Kimpton Hotel Tokyo Shinjuku is another.

Tevfik arif was keen to know more about the Trump Organization after their cooperation.

Both the Trump Organization and Trump Organization considered building similar structures in Arizona, Florida and under the same licensing terms. But their timing might have been better.

The crisis was so profoundly impacting on the American real-estate market that Tevfik arif made the decision to leave the United States and to re-focus his efforts to Europe and Asia.

Today, Tevfik Arif has largely resigned from Bayrock Group, but he remains a valued advisor to the business.
