Tevfik arif's Bayrock Group was able to start small-scale projects and cooperate with major players like Trump Organization in a short period of time

The majority of Americans are familiar with the name Tevfik Arif to the luxury realty development company Bayrock Group. But in Europe and Asia Arif is well-known for his entrepreneurship skills as a multi-faceted entrepreneur working in multiple industries.

Bayrock Group was his first venture in America, founded in 2001 by him who also came from Kazakhstan.

Tevfik Arif was a child of Turkish parents who was raised in Soviet Kazakhstan. He was raised in Kazakhstan with his family, which consisted up of his mom as well as dad and three siblings.

Tevfik Arif was a young boy and was interested in economics and business. These subjects would later be his passion throughout his entire life.

New business opportunities opened up in Kazakhstan in the start of the 1990s, following the collapse of the Soviet Union collapsed.

It became independent under Kazakhstan and private business became more accessible to the Kazakhstanis.

Tevfik Arif was among the younger Kazakhstanis who had a go in the unknown world of business for private individuals.

He decided to quit his job as a government official, and he started various companies that specialize in luxurious real estate sector food, imports and exports minerals natural resources, and various other fields.

Tevfik Arif Bayrock Tevfik Alif's ventures into business in different sectors gave him access to an extensive network of international and with national partners.

In the years following, Tevfik Arif entered the European market before he took the plunge and moved to the United States in 2001.

The Kazakhstani businessman moved to New York City so he could be near his American family.

He also had the option of looking into American business ventures. Bayrock Group, a luxury real estate development firm was established. They started to manage small- and medium-sized properties.

The firm was in addition, responsible for the rehabilitation of Loehmann's Seaport Plaza shopping mall in Brooklyn's Sheepshead Bay neighbourhood.

Bayrock Group, at that time, was working with the Sapir Organization to develop a property development project in New York City’s SoHo.

The Trump Organization was a newer participant in the American real estate scene. Bayrock Group was a relatively new business.

The former American president Donald Trump was the company's leader. Tevfik Ariff saw huge potential in this.

Tevfik Arif Bayrock Bayrock Group founder, Donald Trump Organization, suggested that the plan be included to boost brand recognition and increase prestige in the SoHo project.

Tevfik Ariff has presented a proposal that would give the Trump Organization 18 percent equity, and allow it to make use of the Trump brand as its building's name.

Three parties were involved in the deal which marked the start of Trump SoHo.

The first brick of the building was laid on Spring Street, 2006, and the 46-story structure officially opened two years later.

In the Trump SoHo project the three firms determined to reach the highest level of perfection. Tevfik Arif Bayrock For this reason, the building was outfitted with floor-to-ceiling windows, enabling people to view the New York City skyline from any angle of the construction.

Trump SoHo included apartments, hotel rooms, and an outdoor swimming pool. The hotel also had bars and restaurants, spa facilities, bars, as well as banquet halls and event spaces.

Handel Architects designed the structure of the building, and Rockwell Group handled the interior design for Trump SoHo.

Both companies have extensive portfolios that includes internationally recognized projects.

Tevfik arif was eager to find out more about the Trump Organization after their cooperation.

Both the Trump Organization and Trump Organization considered building similar structures in Arizona, Florida and under the same licensing conditions. But, their timing could be more appropriate.

The financial meltdown of 2008 drew attention to the American housing market, while the companies plotted their next move.

The recession impacted the American real estate market so much that Tevfik Ariff was forced to move out of the country in order to focus on Europe and Asia.
