You are probably the only teacher in the entire school who has seen nearly as many movies as I have, and that is why you have managed to remain one of the most memorable teachers in my years at Sayville. As an APUSH teacher you helped us learn about the history of our country, but you and I both know that I learned just as much about movies from you as I did history. No teacher in the building can have conversations about teaching as elaborate as you and I, and on discussions ranging from the quality of The King's Speech to the historical significance of Forrest Gump, we probably derailed way too many classes just arguing about film. You've pointed countless movies in my direction, and I owe you so much for that. Alongside all of that, you are one of the few people I know that watches Jeopardy! with regularity. I hope that we can keep swapping movies for years to come, especially if I end up making/reviewing them one day. Thank you for being one of the smartest teachers I've had in a subject not related to what they taught.
