Which is why when the Mermaid Tarot deck began to call for me, I was a bit shocked. I had seen Amanda Ellis utilize this deck numerous times, I went to the Amazon page<br>and that was it: it was drawing me to it. The deck has a very unique character, which I'll discuss more below. I ordered this deck from Amazon, and they shipped it in<br>a bubble bag package, which is regrettable since the corner of the box was smashed.( You can see see simply a little in the leading left corner of package is misshapen in the image at the bottom of this page.)However I was rather surprised when I felt the mermaids calling to me, saying that it was superficial and they desired to be unboxed. There's a lot of giggling and laughter from the mer-children in this deck.</p>

<p class="p__1">They were pleased when I chose to open package and the cards. This Website and Cards Julie Dillon's artwork is definitely sensational. She uses color and light in a remarkable way. Much of the cards are set under the water (naturally ), so there are lots of blues and blue-greens in this deck. There is excellent contrast in the cards, and a a great deal of them represent more modern-day issues with the oceans, such as pollution, dead sea animals, and gas spills(the Death card.)A number of them also include tales we understand so well, such as the Little Mermaid (the Fool) and King Triton(the Emperor ).</p>
