When going camping with your children, don't forget to bring laptop, tablet , and occasionally even your phone loaded with videos

I was only able to share with her my excitement over going on my first camping trip with my children, her grandkids, and she was all over my preparations huffing and puffing with suggestions and advice on every scenario that could come up. I'm not a fan of my mom's talking, but hearing her lecture. But listening to her. But it made me nervous and I was tempted to wrap it up quicker than I ought to have. And that was a big error, as I've found out the next day... or two..


We set out with our car to drive the car all up to the campsite. I wanted to recreate the same kind of camping experience that I had with my dad back in the days and so I picked one of the remotest places which, as it turned out later was located in a huge area that was not serviceable. Our smartphones were not working which meant we were alone, without any other campers. It's not a problem, I was expecting an amazing day off from work, three days out in the wilderness, with nature.. But , we returned to our vehicles returning home just 24 hours after our camping trip had begun.

What was the situation? We had no Internet or bars, nothing. convert to mp3 I had packed my laptop, along with a few online games. But it was impossible to get it out the bags. I had made a background for the trees so that they could view the projector that I brought with my laptop. I was unable to access Hulu or Netflix and it was difficult to endure their presence. They just wanted to get up to speed with their schoolwork to check their emails and text me. We packed and headed back. They groaned and squealed when their phones started to beep, announcing new text messages.

Since then, I've been more prepared and am trying to stay out of an area that does not allow roaming. But, during our lengthy boat ride towards our destination I realized that I'd need two tablets and a laptop to keep me entertained. My tablet is loaded with Hulu offline video on one hand, and Netflix films on the other. And the laptop has all my music videos and movies. I've got about 600 hours of content to watch, including all the South Park, Friends, and Will & Grace seasons.

I have many videos of children laughing, so I downloaded some Youtube videos. A few videos were converted to MP3 and/or mp4 formats. I came across this website application which allows me to download videos directly onto my laptop. This lets me play the videos offline at any time I want, provided I have electricity. I DVR many TV Shows, movies, and seminars on the internet. The videos are saved as MP4 on my computer. Then, I open them up later using VLC or KMP.

Another thing I insist upon is 4k. What do you think? The video is clear and truly amazing. I highly recommend it. Televisions that can play 4k video have wonderful software that boosts the quality and enhances the picture. Old video footage is transformed into a smooth and modern-looking video.
