The biggest error we make is that, for no good reason, we almost always assume complete alignment in both sides' expectations without trying to discern our partner's brain to understand what his expectations of us are. One thing we can agree on is that our friend does not miss the chance to expand this expectation gap ..... We are not alerted by anyone.
There are many reasons behind miscommunications. They are usually related to our personal personality. People who are squared are more likely than those with liberal personalities to miscommunicate, and individuals who are aggressive may have difficulty aligning expectations with passive. This is easy to see - squared can be distinguished from liberal, whereas aggressive is a distinct thing from passive.
What happens if they're totally different? They'll never be aware of that. Imagine the personality gap. Nobody has ever found it or been warned of or studied it. !

Ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce you to a different type of personality that we all share: The FULL CIRCLE versus the HALF CIRCLE personality! !
Note: A behavioral guideline - when you read the next analysis, attempt to determine which personality most accurately describes you and at the same time look for out which one of your friends is. If you realize that you're different types - like Bono sings, "we can be one however we are not the same" If you do, then you ought to be very content as you may have identified the reason behind some of your differences. If you're not the type you're looking for I'm sorry to not help you understand the reasons your relationships look like crap.

Two types of human beings are there. There are two kinds of humans one of which is the "full circle" kind, who is completely self-contained and completely comfortable being alone. Yes, he does need a partner. Absolutely! all true! ... But, he won't be able to live without a suitable partner. When he has found one, he wishes to live his life by his side with his hopefully complete circle - partner.

The other group is the "half-acircle" kinds. They'll never let go of the idea once they have found their miserable companion. In order to make one joyful circle, they will be able to almost join their victims... But do not let them go through the absurdity of living together! The Halves will not relinquish their desire to stare at each other from a distance of zero for the rest of their lives. Nothing less intimate will give them the desire to connect with another half and create a whole.

A notable distinction between these types is the choice to let go of a partner. A partner who is no longer chemistry-wise within the circle will be released easily by the entire circle. The half-circle type , however, will redefine the meaning of having an enmity with their partner. They will say that they're 'holding onto this B..ST..RD until they are able to replace him with an upgrade.

Imagine the incredible dance between the "half-a circle" and the full circle. So he fixes this zone-invasion-problem by making a gentle step backward. The only issue is that he pushed the Half out of his comfortable zone .... the Half is certain that the Full was making an innocent mistake and kindly compensate with another step forward. The Full begins to be irritated and takes a bigger step to the back.. The Half begins to realize that there is something sinister regarding what's happening this time and his next move isn't exactly gentle.. The Full.. the Half.. the Half and the Full are irritated with one another. They understand why, but since they don't have the right terminology they can't adequately explain their madness and turn towards the wrong direction. If they only knew that one is Half and the other one is Full, it could have saved them ...
Although there isn't a single answer, there are many ways to go about it.
