Rami Beracha shares his life experiences with students at the Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya. Rami was a teenager who was adamant about attending law school. Though he wasn't sure if it was the right decision for him, he decided to study law and graduated with an MBA in New York. He then worked in an overseas law office. While working in the Wall Street firm, he discovered that he was passionate about business more than law. He decided to leave the firm and go to France for an MBA.
After graduating from college in 1996, Beracha began working at Pitango Venture Capital Fund the largest venture capital fund. Pitango is a fund that invests in startups in the early stages, and with a focus on high-tech areas. It has over 200 investment and 85 exits. Rami became the managing partner in 2000 and for the next 18 years, he, he was responsible for numerous deals that resulted in successful exits to large corporations in the Fortune 500 like Broadcom, Marvel, Cisco and Apple.

He didn't stop there. Globes awarded Beracha with the title of "Esteemed Partner", recognizing him for his role as a major investor. In 2014 Rami established a new company known as Sosa. Sosa has innovation centers in New York and Tel Aviv where they support innovative high-tech firms in working with international entrepreneurs who want to cooperate with promising Israeli startups. Sosa was recently chosen to construct and manage the cyber center in New York City.

Rami Beracha believes there are always new opportunities. While the last few years have been challenging financially since the inception of the coronavirus however, he believes there are numerous opportunities. He recommends seeking out new business with a substantial digital disruption that could be "Covid Long".

Beracha has two projects currently in development. He recently co-founded London's venture capital firm that is based on blockchain, along with a business group. Beracha has played a key role in establishing Israel as a major global high tech center and is ready for a wider market. Beracha has stated that the new fund is in line with his business outlook. They're looking for enthusiastic companies to help blockchain get its right spot at the forefront of new innovative ideas that can help propel the world forward.

Beracha also plans to establish an Middle Eastern venture capital fund. Beracha believes that this is the right time to invest in the Arab Market, following the recent conclusion of Abraham Accords with Israel and United Arab Emirates. What better place to begin then the super wealthy and modern Dubai? His new fund, Ender Ventures as he calls it, will bring together Israeli as well as European Investors to support UAE high tech companies in virtual reality, artificial intelligence and robotics. The United Arab Emirates is unique in its business outlook. Due to its low business tax, and extremely business-friendly laws, the UAE will likely be a magnet for many companies in the near future.

While Rami Beracha appears to have been successful in every project he has set his mind on, his road was not an easy one. Like most Israelis, Beracha joined the army as a young man. He was a combat soldier in Paratrooper's Brigade during the Lebanon War. Rami was part of a rescue team that was sent to assist soldiers injured in a wild minefield in 1983, shortly following the end of war. Rami was unfortunate enough to step on mines and fellto the ground, loosing his foot and his hand.
He had one of the most challenging times of his life and hospitalization was the final result of it. He was unable to move and was overcome by sadness and depression. His hopes to build his career in the military seemed lost , and he did not know the identity of who or what he was. Rami managed to overcome his grief and discover the motivation to live and to pursue new goals. He was determined to get stronger and more efficient than he had been before the injuries. Rami was determined to explore different extreme sports. He now enjoys snowboarding and kitesurfing, as well as hiking up Mount Kilimanjaro. He feels that his unbeatable self from the past is driving forward in his quest to improve himself.

He is a volunteer for numerous organisations and also makes donations. He is very passionate about helping young men suffering from injuries sustained in combat. Rami led a team of soldiers injured during military service in Nepal in the year 2016. In the year 2018, he was promoted to the rank of major in the Israeli army's paratrooper and the fire brigades. The dreams he had as young men were able to be realized, despite the challenges he faced. His story and passion provide inspiration to other people. Rami was determined not to let his injuries hold him from achieving his goals. He continued to learn and trying new things until finally he was stronger than ever before.
