'Made in....Earth' - Rami Beracha

Rami Beracha blogs about the venture capital world. Rami is co-founder of Sosa.
It's a huge problem when people misunderstand. It's like a minefield. It starts seconds after making contact and then ends with an incredible explosion...
We make the most common mistake of believing that we are in complete alignment with the expectations of our partners. We're almost always completely in sync with our partner except for one thing that he does not overlook the chance to expand this gap . There isn't anyone out there to alert us of the imminent clash.
There are a variety of reasons that lead to communication issues, and the majority of them have to do with our personalities. People with square personalities are more likely to not to communicate well with liberal people. Affirmative personalities might have difficulty aligning expectations with passive people. This is easy to identify because we all know what squared means.
Imagine if they were different? There an in-between between them that exists yet we do not know about it. It has never been discovered or been warned of or studied it. !

Let me introduce you, ladies and gentlemen, a new type if personality that we share: the FULL-CIRCLE personality versus people from the HALF circle! !
Note - This is a guide for behavior. If you go through the following analysis, try to identify which type of personality best describes you. Additionally, you should find out who your partner is in real life. If you realize that you are of distinct types - like Bono sings "we are one however we're different" - then you should be very happy because you might have discovered the reason behind many of your differences! If you're of the opposite kind, I'm sorry I can help you comprehend the reasons your relationships look like a mess.
Here we are...
Two distinct groups of people can be classified as being human. There are two types of people one of which is the "full circle" type, who is totally self-contained and completely comfortable being by themselves. Yes, he needs to be around someone else, and he's seeking one. Absolutely! It's all true ... He is still able to survive without his ideal partner. He will live his life side by side with his partner until he finds one.

The "half a circle" people on the other side need to find a companion. And once they have found the miserable animal, they will not give up! To create a happy circle, they will nearly join with their victims... however, don't allow them to do this thing of living side-by-side! The Halves do not want to compromise their desire to stare at each at each other from a distance that is zero for the rest. Only intimacy will fill their need for connection with one another and form an entire.
An interesting observation among the kinds is the way they choose to leave their companion. The complete circle will usually be quick to let go of the person they've lost their chemistry. Half-circles on the other hand will redefine the notion of having the same chemistry' as their partners to mean: 'I'm holding onto this B..ST..RD. Until I can replace him properly'.
Imagine the incredible dance that occurs in which two "half a-circle" and a "full-circle", are trying to create one another, without being aware of their different geometrical shapes. The Half is smiling and takes two steps forward. The Full is a bit frightened by the unwelcome intrusion somewhat frightening. So he fixes this zone-invasion-problem by making a gentle step backward. He forced the Half out of his comfortable zone . Although the Half believes that the Full made an innocent wrong move, and he kindly compensated by making another step forward, the Half becomes more worried and starts to feel irritated. They aren't sure why, but they aren't using the correct terminology and don't know how to explain the situation. They go to the wrong places. If they had known that one is half and the other one is Full, it could have helped them ...

There isn't one conclusion to this essay but there are some action items:
Rami Beracha
1. Find out who you are.
2. Find out who your partner is
3. Realize there is a difference.
Rami Beracha
3. Respect this distinction!
One conclusion could be drawn: Live and let live.
