Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is a Nigerian Christian who was born in December 63 in Edo State. He was nurtured by his parents who were devoted to him. He is the elder of three sons born to Elder T.E Oyakhilome (one of the founders of Assemblies for God Church in Benin City) and Angelina. Angelina was the matriarch and imprinted her grace on her son from an early age.
The LoveWorld ministry is a joint effort of the family. Reverend Ken the brother of Ken is the beloved minister of Christ Embassy's Houston Texas Church and a member on Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren serves as the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry(LMAM), where several gospel artists are among the top-selling in the world.
Pastor Chris has two children, Carissa Sharon und Charlene. Carissa Sharon is following in her father's example of sharing God's Word with the world. As well as being known by CSO, she has been an award-winning, talented gospel artist and is a part of LoveWorld Music and Arts.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome attended Edo College before winning a scholarship to pursue a degree in architecture at Bendel State University, known in the present as Ambrose Ali University, where the student earned an BSc in Architecture as well as an honorary Doctor of Science award. He also has an honorary doctorate in divinity awarded by the Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was the campus where he felt God called him to be a minister to the Lord.

The InnerCity Mission for Children, the Volunteer Medical Corps(VMC), Traga Care International Foundation [TCIFThe Traga Care International Foundation [TCIF Future Africa Leaders Foundation (FALF), and Bible For All Mission are all under the COFI umbrella.
