The villagers of the small town that she used to live in believed she was cursed. Her father died after hearing news about his wife's pregnancy, her mother died after giving birth to her, and since then, she lived with her grandfather who died several years later on her birthday.

Rhea used to be alone. None of the kids were allowed to play with her, or even greet her, since their parents believed it could bring them bad luck, and that was why she's not used to talk to other people other than her grandfather.

Rhea as a child used to cry often. She cried after being bullied, she cried knowing the news of her late father, she cried when she knew she was the cause of her mother's death. The only one who could calm her down was her grandfather.

That was before he died.

The phrase, "The people who smile the brightest are the saddest one." really applies to her. As she had been crying too much, she forgot how to shed a tear, and that was why she's cheerful all the time.
