Minecraft: Education Edition will be coming to the iPad and educators will be able to access it beginning next month. Microsoft claims that there are 35 million people who are licensed to the education version of Minecraft. "Minecraft: Education Edition on iPad provides new and easy ways of sharing and collaboration and has revolutionized the way that our students and teachers explore projects and curriculum," Kyriakos Koursaris, director of technology for education at PaRK International School, said in an announcement. "The features enable profound and meaningful learning and the values they promote, from inclusion to 21st century skills, allow everyone to make use of technology with amazing results," said Koursaris.
Minecraft: Education Edition for iPad will be available in September and will come with the Microsoft 365 for Education license. Teachers who do not have Microsoft 365 for Education may purchase the game here.
Microsoft announced today that the Chemistry Resource Pack for Minecraft: Education Edition will be available to Minecraft users on Windows 10 PC or Xbox. It lets players create elements, combine them into compounds and build periodic tables. It also lets you create objects such as balloons sparklers, and underwater torch using the chemistry.
