The Anfield Talk - What You Need to Know
This week on TATPod, Ben and Conor discuss the FA Cup quarter-final win against Nottingham Forest. The result means Liverpool will face City in the semi-finals. The Anfield Talk talk about Liverpool's performance in the UCL and league so far this season. Tune in to find out what you need to know. Whether you're a fan or an ardent supporter, you'll be able to enjoy these episodes.

Mohamed Salah's new deal

Egyptian striker Mohamed Salah has signed a new deal at Liverpool, extending his stay in the club for a further three years. The Egyptian was a potential free agent next summer, and was approaching the final year of his previous deal. But Liverpool have secured him for the next three seasons, and his new deal will keep him at Anfield for the rest of his career. He is expected to earn more than PS350k per week, which would put him on par with top players at Manchester United and City.

Liverpool's summer business

Jurgen Klopp has been busy this summer - and it's clear he's had a successful time of it. Liverpool have brought in four new players, as well as Naby Keita from Fulham. In addition to the four new signings, Liverpool released six young players, and the departure of Alex Manninger. Jurgen Klopp has signed four key players to build on the success of last season's Champions League and Premier League campaigns.

Fabio Carvalho

There has been a lot of speculation about Liverpool's potential signing of Fulham's Fabio Carvalho. The attacking midfielder has been a standout in the Championship this season and played a crucial role in their promotion to the Premier League. The Reds missed out on signing Carvalho in January due to negotiations that went against their interests. But there is no reason to despair.

Naby Keita

According to reports, Liverpool are currently in talks with Naby Keita over an extension to his contract. The Algerian midfielder has been linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain this summer. He is entering the final year of his contract with the Reds, and officials want to keep him at the club until the summer of 2019. The latest rumour is that Keita is ready to leave Liverpool for a fee of EUR30m.

Xherdan Shaqiri

Xherdan Shaqiri has revealed that the Liverpool bosses have agreed to listen to any bid for him. The Swiss striker is wanted by Maurizio Sarri. It has been reported that the Blues have sold some of their fringe players in order to fund the transfer of Shaqiri. Xherdan Shaqiri has already made a number of positive comments about the move to Lazio.

Xherdan Shaqiri's future at Anfield

Xherdan Shaqiri has been heavily linked with a move to Liverpool in the summer, but his future remains uncertain. Although the Swiss international had a successful World Cup, he has fallen down the pecking order at Anfield in recent years. As a result, the Reds have been linked with a number of attacking players. However, Serie A giants Lazio have emerged as the leading contenders to sign the Swiss international.

Xherdan Shaqiri's move to Chicago Fire

Xherdan Shaqiri is the newest star in the MLS, having been signed from Lyon. The Swiss international played for Liverpool, Inter Milan and Switzerland and has already won four major trophies. The new signing will have an immediate impact on the Fire. The Fire are in desperate need of a linchpin, and Shaqiri is the perfect candidate.
