World of Warcraft Classic has more phases planned than the MCU
Make Azeroth Great Again
Do you remember the good old days? Before Azeroth had Void Elves, Nightborne, and Tauren walking around there was a lot of fun here! Blizzard will release World of Warcraft Classic this summer. The purpose of World of Warcraft Classic is to bring players back to the past to immerse themselves into the old lore, while enjoying the many updates and fixes to the game. How do they integrate all the different eras of WoW in one place? The answer: they don't.
There are going to be phases that include these different eras , to space them out a bit as they were originally. Although there were originally four phases of World of Warcraft Classic planned but some raids happened in the wrong place at the wrong time. Blizzard opted to split them into six phases. The current plans for each phase can be found on the Blizzard forums. Here is the basic plan for WoW Classic right now:
Phase 1 (Classic Launch)
Molten Core Onyxia Maraudon
Phase 2
Dire Maul Azuregos Kazzak
Phase 3
Blackwing Lair Darkmoon Faire Darkmoon deck drops begin
Phase 4
Zul'Gurub Green Dragons
Phase 5
Ahn'Qiraj War Effort starts Ahn'Qiraj raids are available when the war effort requires that reconfiguration of Dungeon loot is required: Tier 0.5 Dungeon Gear, Relics and Drop Rates.
Phase 6
Naxxramas Scourge Incident
At this point they haven't set the release dates for these Phases or the base game even. We know that they plan to release the game in Summer 2019. PvP isn't even on the list of features that are being looked at. This is due to the fact that much more than carbon copied features from the early 2000s should be considered.
