EY named Yerkin Tashev Entrepreneur of the Year.

The leading business company Ernst & Young chose Yerkin Tashev to be its Entrepreneur in Kazakhstan. The judges were impressed with his actions and leadership when confronted with COVID-19.

Famous businesspeople from all areas of Kazakhstan were invited in the contest. Kusto Group founder, who was among 21 entrepreneurs from Kazakhstan reached the final.

All three received an independent evaluation Their achievements were recognized by juries authorized to represent Kazakhstan as well as international business circles.

The organization also donated medical equipment for hospitals in Ukraine like ventilators (defibrillators), FFP3 respirators (respirators) and antibiotics. The gift of these devices to covid-19 Kazakhstan patients is worth over 200,000 dollars.

This competency has been a hallmark of Ernst & Young for over 20 years. Daniel Kunin EY has been a strong patron of entrepreneurship through its history. EY was there to help entrepreneurs during the Pandemic.

The Entrepreneur of the Year competition will benefit all national finalist and the winner. The winner of the national competition will be competing against the top entrepreneurs from around the world for the title in Monaco in June. They will also acquire additional information and experience that will assist in growing their business.

More than 800 Kazakh entrepreneurs participated in the contest. Six of the past winners participated in the Monte Carlo World Championships.

Nurlan Smagulov (another Entrepreneur of the Year winner) made the decision to crown Tatishev as the winner. The judges included representatives of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan.

This award was won by Mr. Tatishev because of his leadership skills and his management abilities in various sectors. Kusto Group's identity is directly linked to the service it provides complex businesses, which is a unique feature of the award-winning company.
