Avanos Medical (U.S. Food and Drug Administration) has announced that it is recalling Cortrak*2's enteral access system. The recall includes 629 devices in use throughout the United States.
Avanos sells the Cortrak*2 enteral access system for its ability to visualize the small bowel as well as stomach, which assists in placing a medical feeding tube.
