Minecraft has been through a fair share of games. There are many blocky takes on media, whether it's a YouTuber developing a new twist on Tetris or a player creating their own Dark Souls game. It's only natural to know that there's a whole host of builders making Lord of the Rings-inspired Minecraft models.
While many of the builds we write about are large in scale and intricate the one we've featured from DesignMinion is focused on the small particulars. DesignMinion posted a video on Reddit of a brand new door they'd created, which is stunning rendition of the mysterious door that leads to the Mines of Moria. Some people are skeptical that it's a mine, but others are convinced that it's actually a tomb. so many books All we know for sure is that it's an impressive door.
It's almost like you're browsing through an IKEA catalog, looking at it. "The line art is made of white concrete blocks. Stone, deepslate, and cyan Terracotta were used in the creation of the stone texture. The stone'staircases,' that ascend towards the south, makes the stone appear a little brighter.
DesignMinion did this by creating a canvas in Photoshop by replicating the original Tolkien artwork and then transforming it into four maps.

Another excellent detail is The Watcher, which is a tiny squid guy in this version but is a horrifying Hobbit-eating Kraken in the standard version of the world. The side effect of Sildur's Vibrant Shadowrs v1.32 medium that DesignMinion employs to make it glow is called Sildur's VIbrant Shaders Medium. It's a minor thing, but it's a funny reference to the Lord of the Rings that fans will love.
