Bayrock Group opened Trump SoHo alongside the Trump Organization in 2008 and the Sapir Organization. Bayrock Group's success story begins in Kazakhstan many decades ago.

The story of the luxurious real estate development firm Bayrock Group's growth in the United States begins long before the company's establishment in 2001. The story began on the other side.

Before joining the Soviet Ministry of Commerce and Trade in the Soviet Union, Tevfik earned a degree at the Moscow Trade and Economic Institute.

After serving for 17 years in the ministry the minister decided to step down and start several businesses. Tevfik Arif had several businesses, including ones in the development of luxury real estate food, exports, or imports.

Tevfik Arif, through his various companies, was able gain a variety of foreign partners. His connections led him to move to Turkey in 1993, where he became one of the leaders behind the country's popular all-inclusive hotel model.

Tevfik Arif Doyen He, for example, founded the Labada Hotel in Antalya before he embarked on his next venture across the Atlantic some years later.

Bayrock Bayrock Group takes on more ambitious goals

Tevfik Amir moved into America in 2001 in search of new opportunities in business and be closer with his American family.

Bayrock Group started with small-to medium-sized projects in New York. For instance, the company renovated Loehmann's Seaport Plaza shopping center in Brooklyn's Sheepshead.

Bayrock Group was a solid start. It helped Tevfik become more determined. He was looking for bigger projects, so he changed the strategy of the company in order to concentrate on them.

Trump SoHo finally takes shape

Bayrock Group & Trump Organization shared a vision of high-end real estate developments. Therefore, they decided to combine forces.

Tevfik Arif was aware that the incorporation of the Trump Organization to that project would add an image to the building which Bayrock Group and the Sapir Organization did not have.

Arif signed an agreement that provided the Trump Organization 18% equity in this building , in exchange in exchange for the Trump brand being used as its brand name.

The agreement was negotiated by the Bayrock Group as well as the Trump Organization (and the Sapir Organization).

The doors opened to Trump SoHo, which would be the first building to be completed in 2006.

After two years of labor the building was finished and was awaiting its opening.

Design experts are the architects behind Trump SoHo

Trump SoHo had apartments, hotel accommodations, luxury eateries/bars as well as a pool and banquet halls at the time it was opened. The floor-to-ceiling windows of the building afforded guests unparalleled views of New York City.

Bayrock Group and Trump Organization strengthen their partnership

The Bayrock Group and the Trump Organization sought to strengthen their partnership after the opening Trump SoHo.
