Sony announced on Monday that it had planned a week of PlayStation VR game announcements, and the week kicked off with a big one for Minecraft gamers. The popular Sandbox game will be updated with a no-cost update for all PS4 users later in the month of.
Mojang has been working on that since Sony gave it the green signal to bring cross-platform play and the Bedrock version of Minecraft to PS4 last year. With the help of SkyBox Labs, it's refitting the virtual reality tech it uses on other platforms to make it compatible with PSVR.
You'll be in a position to play the entirety of Minecraft in PSVR following the update. There will be two primary VR modes which are Immersive and Living Room (i.e. You'll have access to a virtual screen and more options to alter the game to your preferences.
