Microsoft announced that it had sold 176 million copies of Minecraft, quite a big jump over the 156 million number they announced just seven months ago. Despite the increased attention to games like Fortnite, Microsoft has kept the game current with features like the Dungeons online co-op, a browser-free version, a upcoming movie and now an augmented reality game called Minecraft Earth. Microsoft announced that it has surpassed 200 million registered users on the Microsoft China edition and completed 130 million Minecraft "Hour of Code" sessions.
These numbers could be significantly higher if it begins to ramp up the beta program for Earth. The new game is more immersive than Pokemon Go, the mobile AR champion. MINECRAFT-SERVER-LIST.ME It looks very promising. Microsoft plans to release Minecraft Earth to the world gradually, starting with an open beta in the summer.
