However, from my experience you will find that the light will start to fade over an extended time. How long that will take seems to depend on the bulb. Choose between standard or dimmable bulbs. Dimmable bulbs have an advantage that you can adjust the amount of light and energy to be used. Now led light bulbs come in both forms.

You can get these ready made from with a battery compartment from the '99p Store' on your local high street. Tech confident people could make their own from individual components. DO NOT use mains fairy lights, this is a fire hazard!
