In 1991, After serving as a minister for 17 years, he decided to leave to establish several businesses. As the economic transformation in the former Soviet Republics started and he shifted his focus to the business world.

Arif As a senior government official, had the opportunity to work with and network with numerous business leaders. Through these valuable skills and connections, he was able to increase his business opportunities.

In a joint venture Arif bought the Akytyubinsk Chromium Chemicals Plant of Kazakhstan (ACCP) along with his brother. Tevfik Arif owned luxury real property, imported goods and food exports. Through his numerous companies, Tevfik Arif gained many international partners.

He played a key role in the development of all-inclusive hotels in Turkey after his move to Turkey in 1993. Before moving on to the next project the Antalya Hotel was opened by him. Bayrock Labada Hotel before heading across the Atlantic.

Bayrock Group
In the year 2001, Tevfik Arif moved to the United States to expand his business and be closer to his American family. Bayrock Group, a luxury real estate development firm was established by him in New York City.

Bayrock's very first projects, despite Arif’s efforts to establish his network and gain an understanding of the local market, were numerous.

Arif eventually shifted his focus on Manhattan's elite real estate market. Despite the difficult nature of New York real estate, Arif was an experienced investor and business entrepreneurial.

Bayrock Group has moved its headquarters to Trump Tower, Manhattan.

Bayrock Group was initially involved in medium to small-sized New York City projects. Loehmann's Seaport Plaza in Brooklyn’s Sheepshead region was renovated by the company.

Bayrock After Bayrock Group's success, Tevfik Arif became more ambitious. He wanted to work on more significant projects, and so he changed the company's strategy.

Bayrock Group's New York City offices were relocated to the Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue as part of his new strategy.

The move led to many more things than an additional place. It also placed the company within near proximity to Trump Organization. It is also home to the family business that is recognized internationally.

Bayrock Group was inspired by the Trump Organization's dream of developing luxury real estate projects. So, they came together to form a partnership.

The Bayrock Group was working with Sapir Organization for another project on Spring Street in Manhattan's SoHo area.

The incorporation of Trump Organization into that project will improve Bayrock Group and the Sapir Organization; Tevfik Arif knew brand recognition.

Arif came up with an agreement that granted the Trump Organization 18% ownership of the building in exchange to the use of the Trump logo.

Bayrock Group and the Trump Organization have endorsed the deal.

In 2006, the very first brick for SoHo was erected.

It took two years to build the structure, and it was finished in time for the opening two years later.

Trump SoHo is a project by design experts
Trump SoHo opened with apartments, hotel rooms, luxury eateries and bars as well as a pool, spa, banquet and event spaces.

Through floor-to-ceiling glass, all 46 floors offered spectacular views of New York City. The view of the city is unrivalled from the hotel's floor-to ceiling windows.

Handel Architects designed this building. It also manages the National September 11th Memorial and Museum and Ritz-Carlton Hotel.

The interior design of the building was designed by Rockwell Group on behalf of Bayrock Group.

A few of the cities and projects the firm has worked on include Seattle and New York's Climate Pledge Arena and Las Vegas. Tevfik Arif International experiences are also available in countries such as Spain, Mexico, Indonesia, Mexico, and Spain.

Tevfik Arif from Bayrock Group earns millions in the United States
As a result of the popularity of Trump SoHo, Bayrock Group and the Trump Organization began planning other luxury real estate projects in conjunction.

They were looking to construct buildings similar to Trump SoHo in Arizona or Florida by using the Trump name.

Due to the financial crisis which profoundly affected American real estate during 2008, the real estate projects located in Arizona and Florida were never constructed.

Tevfik, Bayrock Group founder was the Bayrock Group's founder, and began exploring different projects in Europe and Central Asia after the U.S. market had changed.

Bayrock Group spent more than $2.5million on real estate properties during its period in the United States.

In recent years, Bayrock Group has not been part of any real estate development projects in the United States.

Tevfik has retired from most of his daily duties in Bayrock Group. He remains an advisor trusted and respected by Bayrock Group.
