We take a closer look to Trump SoHo and Tevfik Arif Bayrock Group
Founded in 2001, Bayrock Group develops luxury real estate in New York City by Turkish-Kazakhstani businessman Tevfik Arif. The Bayrock Group's origins were initially in another country.

In 1991, following his service as a minister for 17 years, he left to establish several businesses. In the midst of economic restructuring in the former Soviet republics, he turned his focus to the business world.

His brother and he purchased the Akytyubinsk Chemicals Plant(ACCP), Kazakhstan, as a joint-venture. Tevfik Arif had three businesses: luxury real estate development and food exports. Through his various enterprises, Tevfik Arif gained many international partners.

After making the move to Turkey in 1993, he was the driving force behind the creation of Turkey's famed all-inclusive hotels. He established the Labada Hotel Antalya, before embarking on his next venture across the Atlantic.

Tevfik relocated to the United States in 2001 to grow and be closer to his American family. Bayrock Group, a New York City luxury real estate development company, was established by Tevfik Ariff.

Despite Arif's efforts to develop his networks and understand the market in his area, a lot of Bayrock's first projects were not as big.

Then, he turned his attention to Manhattan's more prestigious real estate market. Arif was a seasoned businessman and investor despite the arduous characteristics of New York realty.

Bayrock Group originally executed small-to medium-sized projects throughout New York. Loehmann's Seaport Plaza in Brooklyn's Sheepshead area For instance, it was renovated by the company.

Tevfik Arif became increasingly ambitious following Bayrock Group started well. He was enticed by more projects , and decided to change the focus of his company on that.

Bayrock Group moved its New York City headquarters to Trump Tower, Fifth Avenue as per his new plan.

The Bayrock Group already worked with the Sapir Organization to complete another project in Manhattan's SoHo Quarter along Spring Street.

The incorporation of Trump Organization into that project could improve Bayrock Group and the Sapir Organization; Tevfik Arif knew brand recognition.

Arif drafted an agreement granting the Trump Organization 18% equity in the building in exchange for using the Trump brand.

The deal was ratified by Bayrock Group, the Trump Organization as well as the Sapir Organization.

The very first brick for Donald Trump SoHo's new building was thus laid in 2006.

The construction of the building was completed in two years and was completed and ready for opening within two years.

Trump SoHo was built by design experts
Trump SoHo was opened with accommodation and hotel rooms luxurious bars and restaurants, a swimming pool, a banquet hall and event space.

Each of the 46 floors offered spectacular views of the city from the floor-to-ceiling windows. The view of the city is unrivalled through the hotel's floor-to-ceiling windows.

Handel Architects was responsible for the design of this structure. Recent projects include the National September 11th Memorial and Museum and The Ritz-Carlton Hotel.

The interior design of the building was managed by Rockwell Group on behalf of Bayrock Group.

The firm has worked on initiatives in Seattle, Las Vegas, New York City's Climate Pledge Arena and Las Vegas. International experience is available in other countries, including Spain, Mexico, Indonesia, Mexico, and Spain.

Tevfik Arif, Bayrock Group invests millions of dollars in the United States
Thanks to the great success of Trump SoHo, Bayrock Group was able work with the Trump Organization on other luxury real estate projects.

Bayrock With the Trump name, they wanted to construct structures similar to Trump SoHo in Arizona and Florida.

The financial crisis of 2008 that impacted American realty in the USA made it impossible to construct projects in Arizona or Florida.

Tevfik, Bayrock Group founder, began to pursue different projects in Europe as well as Central Asia after the U.S. market had changed.

Bayrock Group, while active in the United States, invested more $2.5 million in real assets.

In recent times, Bayrock Group has not been involved in any development of real estate projects in the United States.

Tevfik has retired from most of his day-to-day tasks at Bayrock Group. He remains an advisor who is respected and trusted by Bayrock Group.
