Bayrock Group: From the Suburbs and Manhattan Tevfik Arif

The luxury real estate development company, Bayrock Group, quickly after its founding, began cooperating with the Trump Organization in Manhattan.

Bayrock Group Moves From Suburbs To Manhattan
Many people dream of coming to the United States to live the American dream, but only a few individuals achieve it. Businessman from Turkey-Kazakhstan Tevfik Arif was among those who came to America in 2001 and set up his organization, Bayrock Group.

The Bayrock Group is an exclusive real estate development firm that works in New York City.

The initial focus of the firm was on medium-sized to small-sized projects for instance, the redesign of Loehmann's Seaport Plaza - a shopping mall located in Brooklyn's Sheepshead neighborhood.

After making inroads on the American housing market, Bayrock Group was ready to expand its operations and began looking for large scope projects.

The Arif-led business started working in conjunction with Sapir Organization on a major construction project on Spring Street, New York City.

Bayrock Group joins forces with the Trump Organization
Tevfik Arif and his crew met the Trump Organization in the aftermath of the move. The Trump Organization also had Trump Tower in its base.

Conversations were held between Bayrock Group (the Trump Organization) since both companies discovered that they had common interests and dreams.

Both companies formed a cooperation where the Trump Organization joined Bayrock Group in its venture together with the Sapir Organization at Spring Street.

The Trump Organization was then run by former American president Donald Trump.

Donald Trump, who was just about to be sworn into the White House, handed the management of the firm to his sons in 2017.

Bayrock Group's lucrative deal
When the partnership between the Trump Organization, the Sapir Organization and Bayrock Group began, the Bayrock Group was still relatively new on New York City's real estate scene.

Tevfik arif, the founder, designed an arrangement that gives Spring Street more brand recognition.

The deal he proposed would give the Trump Organization 18% equity of the building, in exchange for Trump's trademark being used as the construction's name.

All three companies signed on to the arrangement, and in 2006, the initial brick of what would become Trump SoHo was laid.

A few years after, Bayrock Group and the Trump Organization, along with the Sapir Organization, inaugurated Trump SoHo and their contribution to New York City’s skyline.

Design experts take over Trump SoHo
Trump SoHo boasted 46 stories of exclusive eateries, bars, banquet and event venues, an open air pool, spa area as well as apartments and hotel room rooms.

Handel Architects was entrusted as the designer of the exterior design of Trump SoHo, since the three main organizations behind the building were focused primarily on the highest quality.

Handel Architects is a respected company that has a wide portfolio. The National September 11 Memorial and Museum in New York City and the Rosewood hotel residential in Abu Dhabi are among other projects.

Rockwell Group designed Trump SoHo’s interiors. Rockwell Group has been responsible for designing many extravagant bars, hotels, and cafes around the globe throughout the years.

Their projects include their work at the Tower Hotel in Mumbai and Taj Mahal Palace in India, as well the 93rd Academy Award show, and the Amara Hotel Limassol in Cyprus.

Bayrock Group extends the collaboration with the Trump Organization
Trump SoHo was a huge success, and Bayrock Group and Trump Organization began to explore expanding their cooperation.

Their dream was of building structures similar to Trump SoHo, Arizona and Florida with the same conditions as Trump SoHo. As a condition in exchange for the Trump brand being used in their names, it will give the Trump Organization an 18% part of the building. Tevfik Arif It's back again.

The American housing market experienced significant changes because of the financial crisis. Tevfik Alif, Bayrock Group founder and CEO, chose to move out of the United States. He chose to move to Europe, Asia and where the start of his career was over a decade years ago.

Although Tevfik Arif is no longer a member of the Bayrock Group, he is still a trusted advisor to different divisions of the business.

Bayrock Group was not involved in any recent real estate projects in the United States.

However, the company was active and had made investments in real estate assets worth more than $22.5 million.
