Minecraft Bishop of Ely joins game to promote Gospel teachings

The video game Minecraft is a virtual world where players can create anything with blocks, has been used in order to bring worship to younger generations.
Becky Dyball, a Reverend from Sawtry, Cambridgeshire, joined the game to present Bible stories in a new way.

With the help of her family, she also incorporated her boss, Bishop Ely of Ely, into the game.
She explained that the idea was born out of an urge to engage children and entice them to join in worship in a collective way.
The Right Reverend Stephen Conway Bishop of Ely said: "I am so happy to have participated in an innovative way to share Bible Stories and the good news about Jesus in this manner.
"It is an excellent resource to collective worship in our schools, and I highly recommend."
