Overview

MultiMC is an alternative launcher for Minecraft. MultiMC lets you launch multiple instances of Minecraft, each with its own mods, resource packs, and saves. It also allows you to manage them all with a simple interface.

Manage multiple Minecraft instances, while keeping them clean. Get into the specifics and see logs as well as mods and other information quickly. MultiMC is reliable and will follow the instructions you tell it. - Fine control over Java settings and runtimes. Each instance has settings overrides that you can activate in addition to the global settings. MultiMC game logs include additional information that can be used to diagnose issues and are color coded. - Support for running old versions the way they were released instead of relying on compatibility hacks. - Quickly kill Minecraft in the event that it crashes or freezes. - MultiMC is extremely lightweight and can run in the background , keeping an eye on the game even on older machines where every megabyte of memory matters. It is easy to install common mod loaders like Forge, Fabric and LiteLoader (and likely to add more in the near future). Minecraft world and resource/texture pack management. Import and Export Minecraft instances to share with others. Import modpacks imported from different platforms: Modrinth and CurseForge (via import from the FTB app), Technic, ATLauncher and FTB legacy. The more you can drink, the better.

Download and install

Choose the download for your operating system below, then extract the archive to a new folder and then run it. Make sure you make it executable when you are using Linux.

MultiMC requires Qt5 to be installed on linux. Depending on the distribution you use, you might require installing the following packages in case you don't have it:

Source Code

MultiMC is based on the code hosted on GitHub. The source code is only available for collaboration purposes. The only changes to the binary distribution compared to code are the inclusion of branding and API keys required for the launcher to function, as well as packaging-related changes.
