Minecraft: how to Build A Windmill

Step 1: Locate an area of land that is suitable in size. The land being lined with grass makes the look more realistic. However, you are free to skip this step and build your mill in an eruption.

Step 2: Begin to build the base of the windmill by constructing the 10x10 square.

Step 3: Make the first shape, which is five blocks high.

Step 4 Step 4: Seal off the first section by a roof.

Step 5: Decide which side of the box will be front and build a door there.

Step 6: Remove the grass inside the first section and replace it with a suitable material to create a floor. Wood is a good choice, but you can also play with different coloured wool.

Step 7: Make an entire set of stairs that break out of the ground floor section.

Step 8: Build another two blocks all around your structure.

Step 9: Create a new box shape on top of the one you already have with dimensions 8x8x5 (WxLxH).

Step 10 Then, build a third box of dimensions 6x6x5.

Step 11: Next make a fourth box that measures 4x4x5

Step 12: Carefully remove the corners from all of the box shapes that you have created thus far.

Step 13: Replace these blocks with a dark material unprocessed wood can be used. This provides the windmill with an interesting detail and stops it from appearing boring.

Step 14: Put several blocks on top of your mill. These are the blades.

Step 15: Create 4 symmetrical blades using coloured wool. These should be at a minimum of 10 blocks in length

Step 16: Remove the middle section from your wool blades.
Down With Destruction

Step 17: Replace these removed parts with a fence post. This gives the blades a more solid and solid feel and makes it appear more authentic from a distance

Step 18: Return inside to build an outside balcony, which is attached to the second box shape we made earlier. Decorate the balcony with items like barbecue and a picnic table.

Step 19: Add a set of ladders that connect to the top of your mill.

Step 20: If you'd like, you can put in torches all over the place to help keep it safe from zombies at night or so it looks nicer.

Step 21: Make an opening from the 2nd box we constructed earlier looking out onto the balcony.

Step 22 If you haven't done this, you can build some support columns for the balcony. They don't do anything else but make the mill appear more real.

Step 23: Go back inside and build the milling mechanism. The most important components you'll need to create for this are a long shaft leading from the top, where the blades run down to the bottom, where you'll need to put two flat surfaces to grind the wheat between. Unfortunately, Minecraft does not have the capability to create large mechanical devices like this actually work so you'll have to use your imagination for this.

Step 24: For an added bonus, you can build a quaint garden next to your mill. You can also build a huge wheat farm near your mill If you are feeling the need.
