Does Minecraft come with a win-condition?
No.
A win is the conclusion of the game. It is something you strive for. It is forced from the outside.
It also serves a purpose by providing a framework within which we can (I want to emphasize inevitably) create our own winning conditions. My boss spent the day building a temple with an entrance that looked like a giant cock. The game didn't instruct him to do it, and nothing happened once it was complete. Apart from him showing me. He had a goal and he set to it in the face of obstacles. He was able to complete the task, but passed away. He learnt from the process. All the fun stuff was the end of it.
If you believe that games need to have a win condition, then you might claim that Minecraft is an example of a frame that can be used to allow for such a win condition. This seems like a lazy theory, considering that there are many things that create fun in the same way. Like Electroplankton. Do we really need to call these things games? They feel like games when we play them, even though they do require our engagement. We don't discount the value of play to plays with audience interaction, just because they're only finished when they're completed.
I have also argued strongly (and when drinking) that Minecraft has a great story. It builds it generatively, and you help make it but it doesn't mean that you can't argue against the skillful craftsmanship that was used to design it by Notch. That's a step further however.
Doug has written about the deeper significance of the self-deprecating games developed by the Copenhagen team. I'm too far from the truth to tell you. And on screen keyboards suck.
