Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was the first child of the Oyakhilome family, and was born December 7, 1973, to Tim Oyakhilome. Following his primary and secondary education, he attended Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, Edo State, Nigeria where he obtained a BSc in Architecture.


AAU also presented him with an honorary Doctor of Science award. He also holds an honorary doctorate of divinity from Benson Idahosa University. Reverend Chris was once a married man to Anita Obhodaghe. He and she have two wonderful children.

Chris Oyakhilome Ministry
While in AAU Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was a pupil. He began his journey into ministry while still at AAU. The Believers' LoveWorld Fellowship was known at the time as Youths For Christ (YFC).

YFC grew, and it became the biggest campus organization. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the location of the church's headquarters. Believer’s LoveWorld is a global ministry with millions of associates worldwide.

BLW became the most well-known Christian ministry on television across Africa through its"Atmosphere for Miracles" program in 2002. The program was pulled by the president Olusegun Obasanjo in May 2004.

Pastor Chris's Ministry encompasses four areas including publishing ministry, healing ministry; television ministry and teaching ministry. Through these ministries, he developed the healing school and an atmosphere for miracles as well as the Pastor Chris global prayer network.
