Chris Oyakhilome Biography. The Man. The Mentor. The Teacher. And The Philanthropist.

Pastor, faith-healer, author and a television host Chris Oyakhilome (also called Pastor Chris) is the founder of LoveWorld Incorporated. The business, also known as Christ Embassy is located in Lagos, Nigeria. His unique and inspiring interpretation of God's Word has enthralled millions of people around the world.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is a Nigerian Christian who was born on December 63 in Edo State. He was raised by his parents, who are loving and caring. He is the oldest son born to Elder T.E Oyakhilome, one of the early pioneers of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City, and Angelina the mother of the Oyakhilome family, who imparted her divine grace upon her son from an early age.

The whole family is actively involved with the LoveWorld ministry. Reverend Ken is Ken's brother and member of Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren (KattyWorghiren) is director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry. This ministry has many gospel artists who are top-selling worldwide.

Pastor Chris has two kids, Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon follows in in her father's example of sharing God's Word with the world. As well as being known by CSO, she has been an accomplished, award-winning gospel musician and is a member of LoveWorld Music and Arts.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started his education at Edo College. After a grant was made to study the field of architecture at Bendel State University (now Ambrose Ali University), he received a BSc degree in Architecture and an honorary Doctor of Science. He also holds an honorary doctorate in divinity degree from Benson Idahosa University. While attending Ambrose Ali University, he was prompted by God to go into the ministry and become an obedient servant of the Lord.

When he was still at university, the Man of God established what would later become one of the biggest churches in the world. He established a small prayer group called "Youth for Christ" which would later become the most well-known organisation of its type on campus. It would also serve as the basis for the future Christ Embassy and LoveWorld Incorporated, with millions of followers across the globe.

Under the direction of Pastor Chris, LoveWorld became a pioneer of satellite television and Christian programming. Chris Oyakhilome LOVEWORLDSAT was the first Christian television station to broadcast from Africa all day long on free-to-air channels. Today, LoveWorld television stations are available on cable and satellite networks all over the world.

Christ Embassy has a strong presence in Pastor Chris's home country of Nigeria. Two Healing Schools are situated in South Africa and Canada. There Pastor Chris hosts special sessions throughout the year which allow the manifestation of miracles.

Music and Gospel Music are an important element of the worship. Pastor Chris is a strong advocate for Christ Embassy Churches and Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry choir training. A lot of these singing artists are soloists who have achieved success under Pastor Chris Oyakhilome's supervision.

The Future African Leaders Foundation, (FALF), is an organization that strives to carry on the inspirational work of Pastor Chris. The goal of the foundation is to celebrate and support the extraordinary achievements of the young, talented leaders. Pastor Chris is investing in today's youngsters to enable them to be leaders of the future.
