Minecraft convention firm sorry over Peterborough's complaint-hit event

Organisers of a convention for Minecraft, a computer game Minecraft said they are "truly genuinely sorry" after angry parents criticised the game on social media.
However, a lot of people have claimed they waited for hours to meet famous players and demanded refunds.
O'Brien Event Management stated that a new system was planned to be put in place to cut down waiting times in the near future.
The convention that was not accepted by Mojang Minecraft, the Minecraft-developer, gave fans the opportunity to meet YouTube celebrities as well as take photos and play games.
Lisa O'Brien of O'Brien Event Management has previously told the BBC that the queues were 45 minutes long due to the huge number of people who showed up on the day and didn't purchase tickets in advance.

A second statement on the company's website said: "We are truly genuinely regretful that the event didn't live up to the expectations of a few guests.
"MineVention is primarily a meet and greet' event and that means queuing, but on the plus side , it gives youngsters the opportunity to meet their heroes.
"We have received all of your feedback regarding this event into consideration. Moving forward, we will be putting in place a new queueing system and more content."
The company also issued a statement from Peterborough Arena, which was responsible for catering, and again blamed the "sheer number" of people who came through the doors on the day of the event for the long queues.
Both parties agreed to respond to any unhappy parents who have contacted them in due course.
There is no information regarding refunds, however some parents have told the BBC they received the refunds the day after complaining to staff.
Online ticketing company YPlan announced that it was "actively seeking information regarding the event's organizer to better understand its position regarding refunds, and will seek compensation for all our customers who were unhappy about the event."
