Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born December 7, 1963, in Edo State in Nigeria. While attending Ambrose Ali University, he was prompted by God to enter into the ministry and become a servant to the Lord.

LoveWorldSAT was the first Christian television channel to be broadcast 24/7 from Africa through free-to-air channels. Today, LoveWorld stations can be seen on satellite and cable television networks across the globe.

Christ Embassy has a strong presence in Pastor Chris's home country of Nigeria. The ministry operates two healing schools that are located in South Africa.
