After graduating from college in 1996, Beracha began working at the Pitango Venture Capital fund Israel's biggest venture capital fund. Pitango is focused on companies that are in the early stages of developing core areas in high-tech and has received more than 200 investment from its investors and exited more than 85 companies so far. Rami was named as managing partner in the year 2000. In the subsequent 18 years, the company negotiated several deals that resulted in successful exits from Fortune 500 companies like Broadcom, Marvel Cisco, Cisco, Apple, and Cisco.

Then he didn't stop there. Globes presented Beracha with the "Esteemed Partner Award" in 2011, recognising him as an influential investor. Rami created Sosa in 2014, a new initiative. While Rami Beracha is a successful man in the present, his journey was not always easy. Like many Israelis, Beracha joined the army when he was a young man. He became a combat soldier in the Paratrooper's Brigade and fought through the Lebanon War. Rami joined a rescue party that was sent to help wounded soldiers in a wild minefield in 1983. It was just after the war. Rami, unfortunately, stepped on a mine hidden beneath his feet. He was seriously injured.

His rehabilitation period in the hospital was among the most challenging experiences of his life. He couldn't move and was overwhelmed by depression and despair. All his dreams of building his army career seemed unattainable to him. He didn’t even know who he really was. Rami found the strength to continue living and dreaming through the pain. Rami decided to live a life that was better and more satisfying than it was before the injuries. Rami was determined to test different extreme sports. Today, he enjoys snowboarding and kitesurfing, as well as hiking up Mount Kilimanjaro. He often feels his unrestrained past pushing him to the limit and racing him.
He makes donations and volunteers in many organizations and is extremely passionate about helping young men who, like himself were wounded during combat. Rami took a group wounded soldiers to Nepal in 2016, where was given the rank of major. In the year 2018, Rami received elevated to the rank of Major within the Israeli Army's Paratrooper as well as Fire Brigades. He had dreams when he was a young man and they were able to come to fruition despite all the obstacles. His story and his passion provide a powerful inspiration to everyone who reads about them. Rami didn’t let his injuries stop her from pursuing her dreams. He kept trying new methods, learning and growing until he was stronger than before.
