Jonny Depp stated that Arkansas almost put an innocent man to death. I don't believe that possibility. Currently, there is a great debate happening about death penalty. Some people believe death penalty is unnecessary. Yet others believe completely the opposite. After examining both positions, it is evident that there are some very extreme cases that innocent people pay for things they have not done because justice sometimes fails, and they make decisions that they should not have made.
One reason why I support the death penalty is because there are very bad people who do not get the punishment they deserve. For example, people who kill innocent people without any reason. In addition, those people should be punished with death because they took other people's lives. This shows that peoples are freely doing things without receiving what they deserve. Thus, it can be seen that the death penalty can be a greater punishment for people who commit serious crimes.
Second reason strangely, the death penalty should be necessary since economically it benefits society and violence are eliminated a little more. This shows that many people are in favor of the death penalty being legitimized since most of the money used in the houses comes from the taxes that people pay and that many times the prisons do not have space available for people that they have not committed minor crimes. Therefore, it can be considered that the death penalty helps or contributes to other people being imprisoned and that it is not worth keeping a person for many years in prison.
The opposition might claim that it is something that violates human dignity. Yet, it can be contended that what the criminals have done is not something with much humanity either. In addition, it should only be practiced in highly serious situations such as kidnapping, human trafficking, rape, drug trafficking and possession in large quantities, corruption of officials and pimping. Some may also argue that this way society feels safer knowing that this person who committed a serious crime will not do it again. This validates that this is only done when he is a criminal who has done a lot of damage.
Without a doubt, the death penalty should be legal in all countries since it ensures the safety of citizens. The evidence suggests that most people agree with this because of their well-being. It is crucial that people become aware and do not commit the barbarities that this sentence entails
