While still studying at AAU Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began to get involved in the ministry. The Believers' LoveWorld Fellowship was known at the time as Youths For Christ (YFC).

YFC was growing and eventually became the largest fellowship on campus. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the home of the church's headquarters. Believer's LoveWorld today has millions of followers and associates across the world.

Through its 2002 environment for miracles, BLW was the most popular Christian ministry on TV in Africa. The programme was canceled in May 2004 by President of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo who announced that the churches would cease broadcasting miracles on television.

The InnerCity Mission for Children is a faith-based non-governmental Organisation (NGO). Oyakhilome The organization was founded in 2005 in order to reach vulnerable, poor, orphaned children in the world.


The foundation assists these disadvantaged children and their communities by offering participation-based and sustainable interventions including child development programmes for childcare and family strengthening programs for innercity mission children school, and other programs.

Trauma Care International Foundation

The Trauma Care International Foundation was founded to enhance the quality of life and the overall health of communities and nations by promoting better emergency response services for accidents and emergencies. The foundation is able to help in the implementation of national policies in trauma care by supporting the advocacy process, health education, and community-based programs.

The foundation has run more than 1000 first-aid and safety training. The foundation has taught over a thousand police officers, teachers caregivers, road transportation workers.

Volunteer Medical Corps
The Volunteer Medical Corps is a global christian medical outreach that is committed to providing aid in the form of medical supplies, relief materials and health education for refugees and internally displaced persons in the regions affected by natural or man-made catastrophes.
