What exactly is a Gryphosate herbicide, you ask?
Glyphosate (ingredient designation "glyphosateisopropylamine sodium") is a herbicide that is used to control pests in gardening and agriculture all over the world and even in Japan. When it is sprayed, it absorbs the green parts of the plants, including the stems and leaves. It then migrates to the roots, and eventually suffocates the entire plant. It is classified as non-selective because it kills all plants applied to the leaves' surfaces. Pesticide companies are now offering herbicides based on glyphosate since the patent on the ingredient has expired. Of course, all glyphosate herbicides available are dependable products that have passed strict inspection.
One of the characteristics of glyphosate is "safety", which is very low in toxicity to animals through a mechanism which hinders the action of plant-based enzymes (not found in animals). If the chemical solution is sprayed on soil, it becomes a food source for microorganisms. They can distinguish the solution into water, carbon, and oxygen. グリホサート It is a pesticide recognized throughout the world and contributes to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions because it allows the cultivation of no-tillage.
Glyphosate from tap water
Tap water is safe
Is glyphosate mixed in tap water?
Weekly Shincho stated that there was no standard value for glyphosate found in Japan's tap water. Only the target value. グリホサート This value is higher than other pesticides and countries as well as drinking water is contaminated. I wrote an article stating that there is. There are concerns that excessive levels of glyphosate might remain in tap water. https://wedge.ismedia.jp/articles/-/26627 However, this isn't the case.
Firstof all, glyphosate doesn't have a target or standard value. Tap water has never detected glyphosate at a concentration greater than 0.2ppm (1). An Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare study revealed that Japan's tap water does not contain glyphosate with levels of more than 0.02ppm. In reality, there is no danger of it being detected.
Additionally the glyphosate spray reduces the rate of soil degradation and decays in as little as two days. The same amount will then be transfered to tap water and rivers, and will not be contaminated.
Japanese tapwater is safe
Tap water from Japan is considered to be safe. It is safe to drink tap water as it is. There are 51 specific inspection items and they are provided with the strict quality controls required by law. Water can be classified as "acidic", neutral, or alkaline depending upon its pH. But, tap water in Japan must have a pH that is close to neutral (between 5.8 and 8.6). If your house's water supply pipes have become corroded, iron rust may still be an option.
How is tap water produced? グリホサート Tap water is made using mainly surface water such as river water and dam lakes as raw water. After cleansing the water then adding chlorine to make it more sterile. The water produced is delivered to the homes of each household via water pipes.
Story about Japanese standard value for pesticide residues
The current glyphosate residue standard for wheat is in Japan, 5 ppm. The standard was 5 ppm until December 2017. There are opinions like "We loosened that to 30ppm by 6x and were adamant about the health effects."
Glyphosate in tap water
The residual standard for glyphosate remains the same value that is the standard international.
Truth is that we didn't change the standards. We set it to reflect the international residual standard value. Japan imports large amounts of wheat from South America. グリホサート The importer, also referred to as the producer from overseas, controls the use glyphosate to the standard set by international standards of 30ppm. The Japanese standard is 5ppm. Any imports that exceed the standard will be penalized. This will result in a reduction in the supply of wheat, and could cause Japanese food being threatened. グリホサート The standard value is being revised to conform to the international standard. グリホサート The safety issue remains even though the standard values are in use.
Learn to comprehend glyphosate properly
To ensure that consumers are not unnecessarily swayed by emotional discussions regarding pesticide residues, it is important to gain the right knowledge that is based on research done by experts. It is essential not to let rumors distract you from your daily routine of eating.
